Protecting Our Natural Resources
- Stoughton and Dane County Community Issues
< Back to Community Issues |

The Madison Lakes & Yahara River plays a vital role in the economic viability of Southeast Dane County. Stoughton residents are some of the biggest benefactors in the policies that are put forward to protect this fragile watershed. By striving to keep our lakes and rivers clean and healthy, we provide a very desirable quality of life environment for our businesses and residents of this community.
As Dane County Board Supervisor, I will work to support efforts to keep our lakes clean from storm water runoff pollutant; protect the degradation of our wetland areas and maintain our rivers free of nutrients generated from agricultural waste.
The quality of our living environment supports a sustainable economic development policy for all of Dane County. Continued support of the Dane County Clean Lakes initiative and the Community Agricultural Waste digester program will be a primary objective of my first term as Dane County Board Supervisor. |
Share Your Ideas and Opinions
We encourage you to share your comments and concerns on these, and many other topics currently under discussion and planning by the Dane County Board. I plan to represent the interests of Dane County residents in Stoughton, and to work at keeping us all informed and involved in the process of shaping our community.
